Volvimos/We are back
Trini tuvo una mamá muy ocupada por unos meses, que se tomó unas vacaciones bloglísticas. De todas maneras, no tengo tantas fotos porque últimamente cada vez que saco la cámara me encuentro con esto:
Trini's mom has been very busy, so she took some holidays from blogging. And anyway, this is mosltly what I get these days when I take my camera out:
Pero a veces la agaro desapercibida y brillando.

Dawn
Estos últimos tres meses mamá tuvo que trabajar, así que a Trini le tocó quedarse en casa con Dawn. No podríamos haber pedido mejor niñera. Dawn vino desde USA para ayudarnos con los chicos, y lo hizo más que bien. Qué bendición poder dejar a Trini en tan buenas manos. La vamos a extrañar.
These last months mommy had to work, so Trini got to stay home with Dawn. We could not have asked for a better nanny! She came all the way from the US to help us out, and she did it wonderfully. We will miss you, farm girl!

Vida de Trini/Trini's days
Trini está creciendo demasiado rápido. Cada día aprende algo, dice algo nuevo, hace algo lindo. Su especialidad es hacernos felices.
Trini is growing way too fast. Every day she learns something, says something and does something new. Her speciality is to make us happy : )

Correo para Trini/Trini gets mail
Trini recibió su primer paquete por correo, con su nombre y todo, de parte de nuestra querida y extrañada Iglesia de la Puerta Abiert. Estaba feliz.
Trini got her first packet ever, with her name on it, from our beloved and very much missed Puerta Abierta church. She was happy.
Y adivinen quién más estaba feliz.../Guess who else was happy...
Cuando Trini ve la caja y quiere una golosina, viene a decirme: "Happy, Nini", que es su manera de decir: "Mamá, dame uno de mis regalos de cumpleaños, por favor."
When she sees the box and wants some of the candy, she comes and tells me: "Happy, Nini", which is her way of saying: "Mom, could you please give me one of the gifts from my (happy) birthday?"

El segundo año de Trini/Trini's second year
Creció tanto y nos trajo tanta alegría. ¿Se acuerdan qué chiquita que era?
She has grown so much and has brought so much joy! Remember how small she was?
Trini cumple dos/Trini turns two
El sábado celebramos el cumpleaños de Trini. ¿Cómo puede ser que tenga dos? Pero los tiene. Y estába feliz con su cumple, las velitas, los globos y toda la historia.
On Saturday we celebrated Trini's second birthday. How can she be two already? However it happened, she is two now. She was super happy with the whole birthday thing, candles, cake, balloons and the happy song.
El cumple fue del Arca de Noé/We had Noah's Ark theme
Hicimos unas manualidades.../We crafted...
...y acá están los chicos con sus máscaras./...and here are the kids with their masks.
Después todos a la pile./Then it was pool time
Pero Trini se quedó con mamá y papá./But Trini stayed with mom and dad
¡La pasó bien!/She had a great time
